Item-level Visibility

Track products’ location in real-time, trace their provenance and manage their status as they travel through the supply chain. In addition, iD Cloud Supply Chain connects supply chain partners, internal departments, and even consumer apps to one system holding all stock information in a central repository.

The single point of stock

Ensuring that products are responsibly sourced, sustainably managed, and always available drives an excellent omnichannel experience.

In a world where different sales channels (such as stores, e-com, and online platforms) are connected, it becomes crucial to know where products are. iD Cloud Supply Chain makes products visible across their entire lifecycle. It provides one single point of stock in real-time, which unlocks unseen insights into the provenance, journey, and real-time location of inventory.

iD Cloud Platform

iD Cloud is an open stock visibility platform, built on state-of-the-art technologies and with a multi-tenant design. The cloud-hosted platform ensures high availability, best-of-breed security, and cutting-edge performance. It is built on open APIs and compliant with GS1 standards such as GS1 EPCIS, GS1 Tag Data Standards, GS1 Digital Link, GTIN, and SGTIN to ensure that it can integrate seamlessly.

As a core, the iD Cloud platform includes an EPCIS repository that holds all EPC read-events, wherever they have been created or whenever the status of an EPC changes (e.g., going to a new location). This makes iD Cloud a perfect solution for tracking all item movements, stock positions, and status changes.

iD Cloud makes every step in retail supply chains visible, providing business benefits such as process efficiency, shipment accuracy, and inventory visibility. iD Cloud Supply Chain enables brands and retailers to streamline processes in warehouses, distribution centers, and even at the source with RFID technology.

Item Status Management

Ensuring customers get what they ordered: shipments are checked with RFID-enabled read-points after picking. As a result, e-com orders are verified seamlessly, and customers receive the right products without additional manual effort.

Seamless shopping, across all channels
Outgoing shipments verification

Automatically verify outgoing shipments so that every unit shipped is correct. Making sure that sales channels are supplied accurately can boost customer loyalty. Furthermore, brands can prevent chargebacks from wholesale clients claiming incorrect deliveries.

Make sure shipments are correct
Incoming shipments verification

Prevent supplier fraud and instantly spot what is missing. Identify under-deliveries or other errors to ensure that the distribution center can operate based on accurate inventory information. Quickly and efficiently check all goods received at the unique item level and compare them to the goods expected from the factory and returns from stores.

Returns handling

Returns handling enables seamless product registration to add the items to the stock immediately.

Resell what just has been returned
Tagging & label printing

Print RFID labels in the DC. For example, in the case of seasonal carry-overs or returned articles without RFID labels. RFID printers handle print jobs from a barcode scan or an external order.

Brand authentication & Grey market identification

Combining unique product identities with its destined channel or partner makes it easy to verify if products are sold in the right market segment or channel and identify misuse.

Control brand and distribution integrity
Supply Chain Compliance

Customers increasingly expect to see where an item is coming from (and how it was produced), which requires secure tracking-and-tracing possibilities. With item-level identification, e.g., Digital Product Passports (DPP), it is possible to monitor the product journey and uncover its impact on the environment.

Cycle Counting

Stock information in distribution centers can be quickly outdated or inaccurate. RFID-based cycle counting can increase stock accuracy to ensure stock levels are correct and information systems can operate with the right data.
