Global Deployment Program

Our customers experience full service which unburdens them on a daily basis. Project management, installations, warranty, service, monitoring all devices is done in every country according to the same high standard.

Nedap has operations teams in Asia, EMEA and the Americas. These teams ensure that deployments and services in more than 120 countries comply according to the same high standard using our Global Deployment Program™.

These operation teams do this by actively endorsing, providing trainings and supporting our certified partners. Recently we have opened up an RFID Academy for all technicians so that they remain informed of the latest developments.

Together we have deployed our systems in more than 380.000 stores successfully.

How does the Global Deployment Program™ work?

Our operations managers will be involved in the early stages of a project to map out the project details (needs, wishes, and specifications). After which they will create a detailed project plan which will be approved by the client. The project plan will be finetuned and after sign off the project will take off.

All Nedap products come standard with one year of factory warranty on defective items which commences once a system is installed in a store. However, you can extend that warranty by making use of Nedap’s fast remote service subscription. The project plan will cover at least:

  • 1. A section dedicated to IT

    Your IT department will be informed about connecting our systems to our cloud applications, the strict security requirements that we meet as well as possible integrations with already existing systems. For example, local databases or checkouts.

  • 2. Operations team

    The operations team will provide a guideline that contains all necessary details regarding installation and deployment of RF-RFID equipment in your specific situation. The guideline will cover wiring, protection, specific settings, network settings and possibly other specific topics you would like to have in a guideline.

  • 3. Partners involved

    All of our partners will be informed. The Nedap Operations Team will be present at every first store opening in a country to provide detailed instructions and to ensure the store is installed according to the agreements and global standards.

  • 4. The principle of start slow and scale fast

    After the first few successful installations, we can easily ramp up the installations while guaranteeing the quality.
    The operations team is responsible for certificating our products worldwide so that the solutions in your store always comply with local legal standards.

FAST REMOTE SERVICE & EXTENDED WARRANTY

Our operations teams ensures consistency and uniformity on a global level. This results in 95% of the installations being completed on first visit by our Nedap Global Partner Network. On top of this, Nedap also offers a Fast Remote Service subscription. The Fast Remote Service subscription can solve 81% of the service calls remotely without the need to dispatch a technician to the store.

Organization-wide dashboard

The organization-wide Retail Analytics dashboard enables you to monitor and benchmark all your stores remotely. Retail Analytics gives a detailed overview of the number and types of EAS alarms, and shows the alarm ratio per store. Based on this data, you can act upon the theft risk level in each store and have all stores learn from your best store.
