Retail Round Table

7 February 2019 | The Hague

Internet of Things (IoT) & how to use RFID data to improve the customer journey
The Retail Round Table concept aims at bringing retailers together to discuss the future of retail, especially in regards to RFID.

First, Frank Boelen, Retail IT Expert, will present his vision on the Internet of Things and RFID in Retail. Based upon his experiences as Senior Director IT at Foot Locker and Retail in general, Frank will dive into topics like the fundamentals for building a solid RFID business case, the importance of item-level insights for a successful (omni-channel) retail strategy and how this is linked to the accelerated adoption of RFID in retail.

Then, we will hear how America Today started their RFID journey during a Q&A session with Linda Jager and Florentine Steenberghe. What were their first steps, which KPI’s did they look at and what are their key learnings?

Main topics:

  • RFID & Internet of Things
  • Benefits & use cases of RFID
