Norwegian fashion retailer Varner-Gruppen AS has selected Nedap as their new technology partner to lower the shrinkage in their retail stores. The retailer has 1,500 stores in eight European countries for a range of fashion brands. Varner will implement Nedap’s electronic article surveillance (EAS) solution, including RF antennas at the exits of stores, POS solutions and consumables. Nedap’s offering also paves the way to a growth path towards RFID, connectivity and source tagging, which can deliver additional benefits in relation to stock availability, real-time insights and cost savings.
"Lowering the shrinkage levels in our retail stores is one of the key focus areas for us. We believe that Nedap is the right partner for us to make sure that our high-risk merchandise is optimally secured today and in the future,” states Robert Granath, Head of Loss Prevention at Varner.
